Although we had New Year's Eve bombings and the bombs were relatively small but we have to be very careful from now on and we hope that the violence will be over soonest.

Hundreds of thousands of people gather in Bangkok to commemorate the 79th birthday of His Majesty
No ruler in the world commands as much love and affection from his people as does Thailand's King. That was proven again on Dec 5,2006 as millions of Thais joined the birthday celebrations for the King that were held throughout the country.

The royal address was delivered to hundreds of troops from 13 Royal Guard battalions who converged at the Royal Plaza to swear allegiance and take part in a parade to commemorate the monarch's 79th birthday on Tuesday

His Majesty made an inspection of the troops which was followed by their oath of allegiance led by Supreme Commander Gen Boonsang Niampradit.In a brief speech, His Majesty expressed overwhelming appreciation for being in the company of the royal guards and gratitude for their good wishes and generosity.
